FULTON, NY – Betty J. Hayle, 82, of Fulton, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 9, 1935, in Fulton, a daughter to the late Herman and Marian Drice Coant.

Betty retired from BirdsEye Foods in Fulton.

She enjoyed playing bingo, doing jigsaw puzzles and baking.

She was predeceased by her husband, Carroll J. Hayle, in 1992; and brother, Kenneth Coant, in 2012.

Surviving are her three children, Mary Ann Hayle of Fulton, Carl Hayle of Fulton and Robert (Maxine) Hayle of North Carolina; three grandchildren, Jesse Brewer, Haley Hunsinger and Brandon Hayle; one sister, Gertrude Dann of Fulton; one brother, Herman Coant Jr. of Fulton; as well as several nieces and nephews.

No services will be held.

  4. So sorry about Betty’s passing. I didn’t realize she was so sick. She sure did like her Bingo and was a regular at Holy Trinity for years.

  5. She was a wonderful woman with a heart of gold & was always smiling. The neighborhood wont be the same without her taking watch sitting in her chair getting some vitamin D. She will be missed !!

  6. So sorry about your Mom. We have been friends for years. I always waved to her when I went into church. She was a great lady and will be missed.
