Carl B. Spilman, 62

FULTON, NY – Carl B. Spilman, 62, of Oswego, passed away on Monday May 23, 2016, at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse after a brief illness.

He had worked at Alcan in Oswego as an equipment operator for many years.

Carl enjoyed woodworking and playing pool locally and in tournaments.

He was the son of the late, Kenly and Catherine Eick Spilman.

Surviving are his four daughters, Carolyn (Nathan) Shampine of Hockessin, Del., Emily (Ryan) Bazinet of Marlboro, NY, Debra (Daniel Farley) Spilman and Mary (Andrew) Hickey all of Syracuse; four granddaughters, Norah and Claire Shampine, Eleanor Bazinet and Harriet Hickey; siblings, Barbara (Phil) Tulley of Monroe, Conn., Roxanne (Bill) Spilman-Bush of Boiling Springs, SC, Stanley (Deb Allen) Spilman, Nickolas (Gina) Spilman, and William Miller all of Minetto, Kenly (Alice) Spilman of Daytona Beach, Fla. and David Spilman of Hailesboro, NY; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, with services to follow.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army.
