  2. Dear Joanne, Bernice, and other Vant family members,
It is always sad to see an old friend and acquaintance pass. I have known your mom since our high school days. She was always a kind and caring person. I am sure she will be missed by you and the many residents of Volney whom she knew and helped. She was one of those people who made a difference in life in Volney Center.

Of course, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Sorry to hear about your Mom. She always greeted me with a smile when we would see each other. She was a great lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family.

  5. To my cousins and their families,
There’s not a day in the last few years we haven’t shared thoughts and even time together! Our lives have always intertwined, of course. Now it seems we bear losses together– a result of time flying by so quickly.
My memories of being together at holidays are as fresh now as when we were celebrating. Suet pudding, finding a Christmas tree to cut down, food that never stopped and of course the yearly Volney parade by the party site! My Uncle Joe and Aunt Clara, my only “real” first generation relatives and all of you were very important to all of us. I wish my mother could be with you today, I am glad for the support Clara & Jane have given each other these last two years.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

    Love,
    Lorraine
