Daniel F. “Dan” Tetro, 66; died at Crossings Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, Minoa, NY after a long illness.

He was born in Fulton to the late Angelo and Carrie (DiBello) Tetro. He was a resident of Fulton for most of his life.

Mr. Tetro received a Batchelor of Arts degree in Communications from the State University of New York at Oswego. He was a scholar athlete in Football at Santa Barbara City College, CA and the University of Nevada, Reno.

Mr. Tetro owned and operated Cavone’s Pizza Supplies for 18 years and he was a licensed Sales Associate with Century 21 Gallagher Reality, Oswego.

Mr. Tetro enjoyed traveling, and visited most of the United States. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was pre-deceased by his former wife Susan Rodems.

Mr. Tetro is survived by his brothers Jerry “Carol” Tetro of Seminole, FL., Thomas Tetro of Fulton, Paul “Mary “ Tetro of Fulton, nephews Mark, Brian, Rob, and Jeff Tetro, Adam Looker, niece Kymberly Tetro, and dear friend Paula Dehm of Oswego.

Funeral Services will be held 7:00 PM Friday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Moritz Fuchs officiating. Burial will be held 9:00 AM Saturday at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be conducted 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday in the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.

  1. Dan was a good friend and I spent many hours fishing in Boca Grande and diving in the Florida Keys with him and brother Jerry. Forever the jokester, his wit will be sorely missed. He was a big man with an even bigger personality. God speed to you my friend and may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
