FULTON, NY – Daniel J. Hough, 55, of Oswego, passed away Sunday December 16, 2012, at University Hospital, Syracuse.
Dan graduated from Oswego High School in 1975 and continued his education through BOCES with 4 years of night classes in machine and tooling.
He was employed at Fulton Tool Company for 37 years working his way up to machine shop manager.
Dan was avid outdoors man and sports enthusiast who enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, football, baseball and racing.
He was a huge Buffalo Bills fan.
He had a witty sense of humor and could make anyone laugh.
He always showed a positive attitude and would never give up, even with his struggle against cancer.
He was predeceased by his father, Arthur Hough, in 1984.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Susan (Kon) Hough; son, Andrew D. Hough; daughter, Abbey S. Hough; mother, Catherine Hough; brothers Art (Deb) Hough and Tom (Debbie) Hough; three sisters-in-law, Sally (Jim) Kelley, Jeanne Meyers and Nancy (Chris) Nessel; brother-in-law, Kevin Kon; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Stanley and Marianne Kon; many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton.
Burial will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
