FULTON, NY – Donald Tucker, 85, of Fulton, died Sunday February 2, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Fulton, he had lived in the area for many years.
Donald was a machinist for Kenwell Corporation and retired in 1990.
He had previously worked at Fulton Tool and Edlund Manufacturing both in Fulton.
Donald was a former member of Fulton Elks and Moose clubs.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Donald was a Navy veteran, serving 1946-48.
He was predeceased by his parents, Rensselaer and Clara Reynolds Tucker Sr.; brother, Rensselaer “Sonny” Tucker Jr.; and sister, Betty Hall.
Surviving are: his companion, Joanne Beeman; children, Vanessa Dacorta, Denise Turner, Donald Jr., Pam, Jeff and Scott Tucker; three brothers, Harold, Richard and Bruce Tucker; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
Graveside services with military honors at Mount Adnah Cemetery will be in the spring.
