FULTON, NY – Doris M. Caswell, 85, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday May 10, 2016, at Pontiac Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on August 22, 1930, in New York City, a daughter to the late Clayton and Helen Adams Utting.
Doris had worked at Andrew Michaud Nursing Home in Fulton as a medical records clerk.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Caswell Sr., in 2010; and daughter, Kathleen A. Hope, in 2011.
She is survived by her eight children, Linda L. Louise, Edith M. Barnes, Rose Mary Hoffman, Evelyn J. Caswell, Doreen M. Hathaway, Frederick H. Caswell Jr., Albert G. Caswell and Newton A. Preeman III; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters; one brother; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday, May 16, from 11 a.m. to noon at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, with a service immediately following at noon.
Burial will be in Phoenix Rural Cemetery.
