Dorothy L. Dunbar, 79
HANNIBAL, NY – Dorothy L. Dunbar, 79, of Rochester, NY, died Wednesday March 14, 2012, at home.
Born in Oswego, NY, Dorothy had moved to Rochester four months ago.
She and her late husband, Leon, traveled extensively for 25 years, living in such countries as Morocco, Spain and Taiwan, as well as many states including Maine, Michigan, Washington, Colorado, Texas and Long Island, NY, before returning to the Hannibal area in the early 1970s.
She later retired from Birdseye Foods in Fulton, NY.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leon A. Dunbar.
Surviving are her son, Tom Dunbar of Rochester; a sister, Gwendolyn Adams of Jacksonville, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. with a 4 p.m. service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.
