Earl H. Longley, 93

FULTON, NY – Earl H. Longley, 93, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at St. Luke Residential Health Services in Oswego.

A native of Sterling, he had resided in Fulton most of his life.

Earl was a co-owner of Longley Bros. Dodge in Fulton with his brother, Harold, which they started in 1947.

He was a member of State Street United Methodist Church in Fulton.

Earl and his wife, Dorothy, enjoyed round and square dancing, teaching it to others in their home and travelling to all 50 states of the nation.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 72 years, Dorothy, in 2015.

Surviving are their children, Carol Sanzotta of West Henrietta and Dennis (Nan Jacobson) Longley of Fulton; grandchildren, Kristie Valenze, Russell Perkins, Amanda Gentry and Douglas Longley; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Harold (Barbara) Longley of Fair Haven; and nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, with services to immediately follow.

Burial will be at Mount Adnah Cemetery, East Broadway in Fulton.

Memorial contributions are encouraged to the Alzheimer’s Association, 441 W.  Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.

    Sorry for your loss. Your Mom & Dad were very special people and will be greatly missed by ALL who knew them. I know that State St. UMC has a huge void in it now. God Bless you both and your families.
