Earl ‘Jerry’ Bailey, 78

FULTON, NY – Earl “Jerry” Bailey, 78, of Bundyville, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016, unexpectedly from a tragic accident.

He proudly served as one of the original “Boys from Syracuse” in the Air Force National Guard.

Jerry retired from Nestle, in Fulton, after 40 years.

He was an active member of the Minetto United Methodist Church, as well as a life member of the Volney Fire Department, Fulton Moose Lodge #1280 and Fulton Elks Lodge #0830.

He was predeceased by his parents, Earl C. and Virginia Loughrey-Bailey; his sister, Janet Bailey; and his first wife, Genevieve “Jean” Lathrop-Bailey.

Jerry is survived by his brother, Larry; second wife, Donna Moody-Bailey; an aunt, Lorraine Trenca; children, Debbie (Andy) Denery and Connie (Doug) Wallace; grandchildren, Jermey (Maureen) Wallace, Lynne (Matt) Wallace-Watson and Jennifer (Mark) Sharkey; step-children, Kevin (Kelly) Moody and Diana (Michael) Hardesty; step-grandchildren, Alexa and Mikayla Hardesty and Janna and Konner Moody; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Taylor Wallace, Cole, Marley and Ella Sharkey, and his namesake, Bailey Wallace; as well as several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 5, at Minetto United Methodist Church, 2433 County Route 8, Oswego.

Spring burial with military honors will be at Peck Cemetery, Scriba.
