FULTON, NY – Elizabeth “Grandma” Merritt, 86, of Fulton, passed away Tuesday November 29, 2016, in Oswego.

She worked as a Fulton City Schools crossing guard for 18 years.
Grandma enjoyed watching WWF wrestling, but cherished most her time spent with her grandchildren.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Merritt; a son, Charles Cooper; and daughters, Dawn Cooper and Michele Halstead.
Grandma is survived by her daughter, Sharon Wright; son, Donald Merritt; grandchildren, Denna (Santiago) Rodriguez, Robert Wright and Joshua Cooper; great-grandchildren, Jasmine Rodriguez, Alejandrina Rodriguez and Cadene Cooper.
Calling hours will be held Monday, December 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
Burial will be in Mount Adnah Cemetery, East Broadway, Fulton.
