Eva Bovay, 66

HANNIBAL, NY – Eva Bovay, 66, of Oswego, went home to be with the Lord on Friday July 1, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born to the late Neal and Doris Merritt Bovay on July 26, 1949, in Fulton, she lived in Oswego County her entire life and worked for Birdseye in Fulton for 20 years.

She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing cards and doing crossword puzzles.

Eva was predeceased by her son, Tim Conner, in 1998.

She is survived by her sons, Todd (Julie) Conner and Ty (Trinity) Conner; siblings, Linda Vibbert, James (Melva) Bovay, Betty (Ray) Bonoffski and Lori (Marlin) Morley; granddaughters, Kaylee and Allyson Conner; 12 nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and her beloved cat, Missy.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 8, at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Hannibal.

Calling hours will be held 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 7, with a service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.

Donations in Eva’s memory may be made to the Oswego County Pregnancy Care Center, 157 Liberty St., Oswego, NY 13126.

  1. I loved Eva she was an awesome woman. My friend and co trouble maker when she was in good health. We always had a great time together. I will miss her. My heart goes out to her family. God Bless all of you and may your memories be filled with the joyful times.
