HANNIBAL, NY – Evelyn L. DiBello, 90, of Hannibal, died Friday March 6, 2015, at The Manor at Seneca Hill.
A native of Victory, Evelyn had lived in the Hannibal area for more than 60 years.
She was the co-owner and secretary of DiBello Sales.
Evelyn was a charter member of the Hannibal Volunteer Fire Company Ladies’ Auxiliary and a member of the Prior Stock American Legion Ladies’ Auxiliary.
She was also a member of the Hannibal United Methodist Church and delivered Meals on Wheels with RSVP.
Her siblings, Annabelle Seymour, Helen Alfano, Geraldine Ellis and Clifford, Richard, Donald and Maynard O’Bryan as well as her husband of 57 years, Benjamin A. DiBello, predeceased her.
Evelyn will be greatly missed and forever loved by her children, Tammy Mace of Fair Haven and Terry (Jacqueline) DiBello of Roaring Brook Township, Pa.; her sister, Phoebe Ellis of Fulton; her grandchildren, Stephanie Mace, Jennifer (Matt) Pruitt and Katherine (Dane) Sorensen; a great-grandson, James Hunter Sorensen.
Calling hours will be held 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, with services to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.
Burial will be in the spring at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Hannibal.
