Evelyn L. Muckey, 93

FULTON, NY – Evelyn L. Muckey, 93, resident of the town of Granby, died on Monday June 13, 2016, at Oswego Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was born January 26, 1923, in Volney to the late Louis Worden and Gertrude Kelsey and had resided in the area her entire life.

Evelyn enjoyed crocheting and tending to her flower garden.

She was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1997; daughter, Cheryl, in 2006; brothers, William, Louis and Arthur; and sisters, Ethyl Mae “Pat” and Florence.

Evelyn is survived by her sister, Gertrude Webb; sons, Donald (Joan), Mark (Mary), Loren and Ian; daughters, Gail and Lorraine “Rainy” (Ronald); nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Friday from 11 a.m. until noon at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
