HANNIBAL, NY – Faye M. Axtell, 81 of Hannibal, passed away Saturday January 5, 2013.
Born in Fulton, she was a long-time resident of the Hannibal area.
A devoted homemaker, Faye enjoyed cooking, camping, being outdoors and the time she spent with her family.
She was a member of the Martville United Methodist Church and Oswego Elks Auxiliary.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carlton “Sam” Axtell; her children, Bonnie Lewis and Keith C. Axtell; grandson, Keith S. Axtell; and brothers, Edgar, George and William Beshures.
Faye will be greatly missed by her children, David of Texas, George (Dale) of Hannibal and Sam (Heather) of Fulton; a sister, Helen Colasanti of Kentucky, 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Fulton First United Methodist Church, Route 176, Fulton.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.
