Frank Patane, 92

HANNIBAL, NY – Frank Patane, 92, of Hannibal, passed away at home on Monday November 25, 2013.

He owned and operated a crop farm in Hannibal most of his life.

Frank was a longtime member of the Hannibal Volunteer Fire Department and had served as fire chief for many years.

He was also a former Oswego County Special Deputy and member of the Hannibal Village Police.

He was predeceased by a son, Ronald Patane; and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are his wife, Teresa Malone Patane of Hannibal; son, Fred Patane of Hannibal; a sister, Agnes Barone of Cicero; three grandchildren, Kara (Erich) Mueller of Eldersburg, Md., Alena (Joseph) Sanford of Hannibal and Devon Patane of Boston, Mass.; six great-grandchildren, Hadley and Addison Mueller, Myah, Emma, Lance and Isabelle Sanford; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal, with services immediately following.
