FULTON, NY – George L. Cobb, 80, of Volney, passed away Saturday October 13, 2012, at home.
Born in Sterling, he lived in the Fulton-Volney areas for most of his life.
He retired from Fulton-Oswego Motor Express as a truck driver for many years.
George was an Air Force veteran.
He was a family man; spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren was his greatest joy.
He was predeceased by his parents, Winfield and Mabel McFarland Cobb; and his sister, Mary Lou Minnie.
He will be lovingly missed by, his wife of 60 years, the former Donna Dodge; his children, Steven Cobb, Phillip Cobb and Carla Henderson; siblings, Beverly Koskowski, Barbara Ippolito and Jeffrey Cobb; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
