FULTON, NY – Gerald E. “Butch” Jessop, 79, of Fulton, passed away peacefully on Friday August 4, 2017, after a long illness.

He was born in Fulton and remained there his entire life.
Butch was married to Anne (Guilfoyle) Jessop who predeceased him in 2006.
He worked for more than 30 years at Armstrong World Industries.
Butch’s passions included hunting, fishing, golfing, his dogs and spending time with friends.
Besides his wife, he was predeceased by his siblings, Geraldine Deyo, Margaret “Marge” Bauer, Florence “Pal” Hall and John “Bud” Jessop.
He is survived by his two daughters, Terri Jessop of Fulton and Elizabeth “Bess” Jessop of Voluntown, Conn.; one granddaughter, Tracie Ormsby of Fulton; one great-grandson, Maxam Harrington of Fulton; two sisters, Carol Kerfien of Fulton and Cheryl Scerbo of Lincolnton, NC; as well as several nieces and nephews.
All services and burial will be private.
