Gwen T. Tyrrell, 57

FULTON, NY – Gwen T. Tyrrell, 57, of Hannibal, passed away unexpectedly Friday July 14, 2017, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.

Born in Fulton to the late Gordon and Phyllis Dashnau Wettering, she had resided in the Fulton/Hannibal area her entire life.

Gwen enjoyed having picnics and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Gordon Wettering Jr.

Gwen will be dearly missed by her husband of 26 years, Charles Tyrrell; children, Brandie Wettering-Coleman, Mindy Terramiggi, Dustin Wettering, Krystal Janosko, Nakita Tyrrell and Kristina Tyrrell; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Lucy Wettering, Michelle Wettering, Denise Wettering and Mary Wettering; brothers, Daniel Wettering and Malcolm Wettering; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 20, from noon to 2 p.m. with a service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.

  4. Aunt Gwen was a one of a kind! Heart of gold and strong as an ox through the tough stuff she was some kind of wonderful!
