Helen D. Shortt, 67

FULTON, NY – Helen D. Shortt, 67, of Oswego, passed away Tuesday September 23, 2014, at home.

Helen was born February 14, 1947, in Fulton, a daughter to the late, Fredrick and Ida Troup Phillips.

She worked as a nurse’s aide for several nursing homes in the area.

Helen enjoyed making crafts.

She was predeceased by three siblings, Charlotte Rahyle, Mary-Jane Farr and David Phillips.

Helen is survived by her children, Sherece Graham and Brandin Butterfield; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three siblings, Liz Rice, William (Terry) Phillips and Raymond Phillips; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on September 29 from noon to 2 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
