HANNIBAL, NY – Helen M. Southworth-Alfano, 75, of Granby, passed away at home on Friday January 20, 2017.

She was born March 27, 1941, in Hannibal, the daughter of late Cora and Everett Parsons.

A giving and loving mother and wife, Helen was a talented singer and banjo player, and was known as Mina Bird during her CB radio days.

She enjoyed camping, an occasional trip to the casino, but most importantly spending time with her family.

Helen was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Southworth; a son, Terry Southworth; a sister, Betty Rich; and a brother, Stanley Parsons.

Helen is survived by her devoted husband, Vincent Sr.; her son, Timothy (Chris) Southworth; her daughter, Tammy (Jerry) Holden; a stepson, Vincent Alfano Jr.; a stepdaughter, Vickie Ware; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her favorite niece; and two nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of her family.

Burial will be in Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Hannibal.
