Helen Mae Stuber, 83

FULTON, NY – Helen Mae Stuber, 83, of Fulton, went to be with the Lord on Sunday February 10, 2013.

Born in Fulton, Helen was a lifelong resident of the area.

She had retired from A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital as a L.P.N. after several years.

Helen was a member of the Fulton Alliance Church, Order of the Eastern Star and logged several thousand walking miles at Beaver Lake Nature Center.

She enjoyed knitting and was happy to donate her crafts to children and the Special Care Nursery at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Dean E. Stuber; and grandson, Lance Shannon.

Helen will be greatly missed and forever loved by her children, Mike Shannon, Michele (Brian) McCann, Ron (Kathy) Stuber, Deana (Steve) Ives; sister, Jeanne (Michael) Lalik;  grandchildren, Michael P., Jason, David, Tom, Nick, Kelly, Melissa, Leigha, Brandi, Jonathan, Derek, Jada, Mariah and Isaiah; 14 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at noon Thursday at Fulton Alliance Church, 1044 State Route 48, Fulton.

There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.

    Helen was a great person to know and everyone just loved her.
