HANNIBAL, NY – Irene A. Taylor, 75, of Hannibal, passed away on Monday March 20, 2017, after a brief illness at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse, surrounded by her loving family.
She enjoyed playing bingo, but above all was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Robert, Glen and Jean.
Irene will be greatly missed by her husband of 57 years, George Sr.; children, Peggy Sue (Willy) Pickard and George Jr.; nephew, Aaron Dausman; granddaughters, Bobbie Sue and Jenny Lee Pickard and Christine Marie Mahar; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Edward (Cathy) Dausman and close family friend, Mike Hrib.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, March 26, from 2 to 4 p.m., with a service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.

We are so very sorry to read this sad news. Irene was in Crouse hospital when Jack had his knee replacement, and we thought she was well on the road to recovery. It saddens us that we will not be able to attend services; and we want to express our sincerest sympathy to George and the family.
