Jack D. Lewis Jr., 52

HANNIBAL, NY – Jack D. Lewis Jr., 52, of Hannibal, passed away on Thursday January 22, 2015, at home surrounded by his family.

He was born on October 20, 1962, in Fulton, a son to Jack D. and Jean E. Coe Lewis Sr.

Jack graduated from Hannibal High School in 1980.

He was an avid fly fisherman and hunter.

Jack also loved his Farmall Tractor.

He was predeceased by his wife, Marybeth; father, Jack D. Lewis Sr.; grandmother, Luella Donaldson; and aunt, Jane Scruton.

He will be greatly missed and forever loved by his three children, Eva Cooper of Phoenix, Christopher (Regina) Murphy of Hannibal and Billy Lewis of Hannibal; one grandson, Christopher Jr.; mother, Jean Lewis of Hannibal; two brothers, Jeffrey Lewis and Joey Lewis both of Hannibal; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal, where a funeral service will follow at noon.

Spring burial will be in Fairdale Rural Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Robin, Leslie and Uncle Bob for all the care they have given Jack.

  2. WE ARE VERY SADDENED TO HEAR OF JACKS PASSING. UNFORTUNATELY I WAS IN NC AND UNAWARE OF IT. WE ARE PROUD TO OF CALLED JACK OUR FRIEND .HE PROVIDED US WITH WOOD FOR MANY YEARS AND WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND HELPING US WITH IT. HE WAS A VERY GENTLE SOUL AND MAY HE BE IN HEAVEN SMILING HIS GREAT SMILE AND SHARING ABIT OF WISDOM WITH GOD & THE ANGELS. MAY HE BE HAPPY AND IN PEACE.
