FULTON, NY – Jane Hall Doss, 84, of Palermo, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday May 19, 2013, at Oswego Hospital.
A native of Otisco, she had lived in the Palermo area since 1950.
She had worked at the Cameo Theater and NY Telephone Company as an operator.
Jane had a lifelong passion of sewing.
She was a seamstress many years for the Sterling Renaissance Festival.
She also enjoyed reading and gardening.
Jane was a communicant of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fulton.
She was predeceased by her husband, George “Ernie” Doss; infant daughter, Nancy Ann; grandson, Larry Doss; and brothers and sisters.
Jane will be greatly missed and forever loved by her children, Daniel Doss, Christine (Najam) Razvi, Pauline (William) Benson and Donald (Sally) Doss; brother, David Hall; sisters, June Schilling and Dorothy Grzejka; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, corners of Buffalo and South Third streets, Fulton.
Burial will be at Roosevelt Cemetery, Route 49, Schroeppel.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.

Aunt Jane is going to be greatly missed. I have alot of fond memories of her. Danny, Chris, Pauline & Donald- please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. She had a good life and is at peace now with your dad. God bless.
