FULTON, NY – Jeannine M. Boyce, 88, of Fulton, passed away Saturday January 7, 2017, at St. Luke Residential Health Services in Oswego.

She was a life resident of Fulton and the daughter of the late Benjamin and Grace Mayback.

Jeannine retired in 1990 as corporate secretary at Fulton Savings Bank where she worked for 31 years.

She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Parish in Fulton and was a former communicant of Holy Family Catholic Church in Fulton.

During her life, Jeannine supported Catholic activities and strove to set a good example of her Catholic faith.

She was enrolled in The Association of Knights and Ladies of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem (Eastern Lieutenancy of the United States) in 1998.

Jeannine married Francis A. Boyce on October 1, 1949 and after 60 years of marriage, Fran passed away in 2010.

Surviving is her sister, Eleanor Mayback Hackett of Fulton; and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 11, at Holy Trinity Parish, corner of Rochester and South Third streets in Fulton, with a calling hour from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to services.

Graveside services will be held in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery, South Seventh Street, Fulton.

In memory of Jeannine, contributions may be made to The St. Luke John Foster Burden Fund, Inc., 299 E. River Road, Oswego, NY 13126.

  1. Jeannine was one of those special people, always friendly, always smiling when she met you. Her gentle spirit will be what I always remember when I think of her.
