FULTON, NY – Joseph Fiumara Sr., 76, passed away peacefully on Monday July 17, 2017, at Loretto Nursing Home in Syracuse.
Joe was an avid golfer and bowler. Bowling had been a large part of his life since setting pins in Syracuse as a teenager.
He was a life member of the United States Golfing Association.
Joe was a devoted and loving husband to Carole for 55 years, and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Joe was predeceased by his wife, Carole, in January; granddaughter, Heather Oney, in 2009; as well as his twin brother, Sam and his brother, Nick.
Surviving are his five children, Joseph (Chrissy) Jr. of Fulton, Julie Fiumara of Liverpool, Beth (Bill) Oney of Fulton, Michelle (Scott) Smith of Oswego and Chuck Fiumara of Liverpool; seven grandchildren, Jake, Stacey, Anthony, Stephanie, Justin, Rebecca and Ryan; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Connie, Sheri and Camille; a brother, Jimmy; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 21, at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
There are no funeral services.
