Josephine T. Belfiore, 91

FULTON, NY – Josephine T. Belfiore, 91, of Fulton, passed away on Sunday July 7, 2013, at Michaud Residential Health Services in Fulton.

A native of Guttenberg, NJ, she resided in the Fulton area since 1943.

Mrs. Belfiore received her certification of administration from Cornell University and was the executive housekeeper at A. L. Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton for 27 years before her retirement in 1985.

She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fulton.

Mrs. Belfiore was predeceased by her husband, Paul A. Belfiore; a great-grandson, Christopher D. Montgomery; and a sister, Catherine Zagame.

Surviving are a son, Ross A. Belfiore of Fulton; two daughters, Grace M. (Leland) Briggs of Fulton and Pauline A. (Charles) Patnode of Oswego; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. on Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, corner of Rochester and South Third streets, Fulton, with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
