Josephine Tetro Puglia, 90

FULTON, NY – Josephine Tetro Puglia, 90, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at Seneca Hill Manor in Oswego.

She had worked in the school lunch program for the Fulton Consolidated School District and at Sealright Packaging Company in Fulton.

Josephine was a communicant of Holy Trinity Parish in Fulton and a member of Court Pere LeMoyne #833, The Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent “Jim” Puglia, in 2007; and by seven siblings.

Surviving are her children, Vincent (Nanette) Puglia and Melissa (Dale) Bridgewater all of Fulton; grandchildren, Laura (John) LoFaro, Vincent Puglia, Stephen (Maggie) James and Tammy Fenske; a great-granddaughter, Isabella James; a sister, Julia Holt of Fulton; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 17, at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St. in Fulton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 18, at Holy Trinity Parish, corner of Rochester and South Third streets, Fulton, with burial following at St. Mary’s Cemetery, South Seventh Street in Fulton.

Memorial contributions are encouraged to be made to Holy Trinity Parish or to The Catholic Daughters.

  1. Melissa and family, I am so sorry for your loss. She was a great woman and I know how much loved and sacrificed to do take care of her.. That is why she lasted so long. Job well done Melissa.

  2. Josie was a wonderful lady who never failed to make me smile. I’m so glad that I got to know her and her wonderful family. I know she will be missed by many.
