FULTON, NY – Leonard J. Collins Sr., 59, of Fulton, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018, at Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse.

He was born on May 26, 1958, in Ogdensburg, a son to Laverne and Lucille Beedy Collins.
Len worked at BirdsEye Foods, in Fulton, for many years, where amongst many things he was a forklift operator and the president of the union.
He enjoyed the outdoors by fishing, hunting, camping and canoeing.
Len was a man of few words and a strong opinion.
He was predeceased by his father, Laverne Collins; and two brothers, Jamie and Carl Collins.
Len is survived by his wife, Pamela Collins; one son, Leonard (Melissa) Collins Jr.; three step-children, Jaimey (Sarah) Pickard, Lisa (Bill) Spiegel and Jesse Pickard; several grandchildren; mother, Lucille Collins; two brothers, Steve and Mark Collins; two sisters, Denise and Michelle Collins; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.

Lenny you were my mentor in the union stuff. We had a lot of fun rattling their cages and p’ing them off. I will always remember the good you did for people.
