HANNIBAL, NY – Lynn A. Morrison, 65, of Hannibal, passed away Monday June 1, 2015.

He was born in Fulton on June 7, 1949, a son to the late, George and Arlene Morrison.

Lynn was a life resident of the Fulton-Hannibal area and graduated from Hannibal High School in 1969.

He retired in 1985 from the NYS Department of Transportation where he had worked for 16 years.

Lynn enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Deborah J. Morrison, who died December 25, 2005; and by his brothers, Donald, who died May 7, 2011, and Gary, who died May 12, 2012.

He is survived by his longtime companion, MaryJane Beckwith of Hannibal; and her children, Amy L. Clark of Wyoming and Brian Beckwith of Colorado; two sons, William Edward Morrison and Terry Paul Morrison both of Fulton; two grandsons, Jacob Paul Morrison and Brandon Morrison; a niece Cindy Coombe and a nephew, Paul Morrison both of Connecticut.

Graveside services will be held at noon Friday at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, County Route 3, Hannibal.

Contributions in memory of Mr. Morrison may be made to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Processing Center, 6725 Lyons St., P.O. Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057.

  1. Lynn was a real nice guy who would share his love of cars (especially t-buckets) with everyone he met. He was very talented as anyone who purchased one of his
    cannons can attest. Gone much too soon, but not forgotten.

  2. Lynn will be missed by many the boys at their morning coffee with Lynn’s input on Town and Village politics. His creative designs as you left the Village toward Fair Haven will be no longer .May he always be remembered
