M. Craig Browning, 66

FULTON, NY – M. Craig Browning, 66, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at St. Luke Health in Oswego, surrounded by his loving family.

A native of Fulton, he was the son of the late Ola and Jeanette Smith Browning.

Craig retired as a millwright leader at Interface Solutions in Fulton after 30 years service.

He had previously worked at Oswego Auto Parts in Oswego and as a youth at Brewer & Campbell Garage in Fulton.

Craig enjoyed spending time with his family and dogs, boating and motor sports.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ellen Lantry Browning of Fulton; three children, Susan Browning (Shawn Okoniewski) of Victory, Ron Browning of Fulton and Christopher Browning (Nicole Nalle) of Fulton; several aunts and cousins.

Calling hours will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, at Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 910 Fay St., Fulton, with services 10 a.m. Monday, February 5, officiated by Rev. Joseph Scardella at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions are encouraged to a favorite charity.

  1. My heart goes out to all of you. Another one taken way too soon. Hold on to all the love & memories you have of Craig as they are what will get you through your dark days. So very honored to have known Craig and he’ll be watching the Super Bowl with my two Angels & have the best seats in the house. Much love to all.

  2. Rita and I were deeply saddened hearing this.Craig was a dear friend of many years and we shared a lot of good times together boating, snowmobiling and just hanging out. I will cherish these memories forever. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I have lost another team member and a good friend.

  4. Sorry to hear of Craig’s passing .spent 30 years together at armstrong.he was a gifted mechanic and I have many great memories of the times we shared together.may god bless
    and comfort you at this time of sorrow.

  5. Thinking of you, Mary, Susan, Ronnie and Christopher. Such fond memories in the 80’s….that picnic bench and our “happy hours’” each evening. The boat rides, etc. We had so many laughs together…remember the skunk that looked like Pips? What a great guy, so sorry…..
