FULTON, NY – Marie Lilly Spaziani died Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at the age of 84, after a long illness.
She was a native of New York City and the daughter to the late, Mario and Josephine Tripi Lattanzio.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Charles D. Lilly, in 1976, and Leonard A. Spaziani, in 2010; as well as two brothers, George and Rudolph Lattanzio.
Mrs. Spaziani was educated in NYC schools and retired from HSBC in Fulton after many years of service.
She will be missed by her children, Teresa Lilly (Carl Hewings) of Rochester, Kathleen Leavens of Fulton, Mary Beth Lilly of Cicero, Charles Lilly of Cortland, Mark Lilly of Fulton and Christopher Lilly of Oswego; her grandchildren, Scott, Kristen, Kaitlin, Rob, Megan, Jen, Juli, Andrew, Dan and Kayla; her great-grandchildren, Rachel, Samantha, Brooke, Ryan and Drea; sister-in-law, Mildred Lattanzio; aunts, Eleanor Marino and Lucille DiBello; cousin, Rosalie Marchesi.
She will be remembered for her loving smile, quiet strength, love of opera and good Italian cooking.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton.
Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, South Seventh Street, Fulton.
Calling hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
