Marlene Todd Corzett, 81

FULTON, NY – Marlene Todd Corzett, 81, of Fulton, passed away on Saturday December 28, 2013, at home.

She was a life resident of Fulton; the daughter of the late G. Stanley and Elizabeth Ingamells Todd.

Marlene had worked as a floral designer at Dowd’s House of Flowers for many years and previously worked at Ingamell’s Grocery and the American Woolen Mill in Fulton.

She was a member of State Street United Methodist Church in Fulton.

Marlene spent 50 summers, with her husband, Wally, and their family at their cottage on Catfish Creek off Lake Ontario.

She also enjoyed making quilts for her family and friends.

Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Wallace F. Corzett of Fulton; three sons, Douglas (Michele) Corzett of Livermore, Calif., William (Laurie) Corzett of Medford, Mass. and Wallace B. (Debbie) Corzett of Fulton; five grandchildren, Todd, Christopher, Kevin and Bradley Corzett and Cheryl Hermann; two great-grandchildren, Wyatt Corzett and Cyan Hermann; a brother, George (Irene) Todd of Michigan; a sister, Norma Burleigh of Fulton; many nieces, nephews; grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Bowers.

Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, with a memorial service to immediately follow at 6 p.m.

The family wishes to thank the support given by the nurses and caregivers of Oswego County Hospice.

  1. DEAR WALLY ; SORRY TO HEAR OF MARLENE PASSING. AT LEAST WE KNOW THAT SHE IS IN A BETTER PLACE NOW.

    I THINK BACK ON SOME OF THE GOOD TIMES WE HAD AND REALIZE IT HAS BEEN 58 YEARS SINCE THE LAST TIME WE WERE TOGATHER.

    TIME FLIES WHEN YOU ARE NOT LOOKING.
