FULTON, NY – Mary O. Fauler, 91, of Fulton, passed away Monday August 25, 2014, at Morningstar Care Center in Oswego.
Born in France, Mary had lived in Syracuse until her late teens.
In 1942, she married Raymond Fauler and moved to the Fulton area.
She had retired from NYS Department of Transportation after more than 15 years.
Mary was a member of the Oswego Chorus, a communicant of The Church of the Immaculate Conception and was active in the Altar-Rosary Society.
She was predeceased by a brother, George; sister, Rose; her daughter, Mary Rose; and son, Joseph.
Mary is survived by her husband of 72 years, Raymond; sons, Raymond G., Francis A., and Paul W.; siblings, Johanna Whaley and Joseph Schmelzer; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, corner of South Third and Rochester streets, Fulton.
Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.

I am so sorry to hear about Mary. Her and I worked side by side and she taught me all about my duties when I started working for DOT, Construction, until she retired. I am so glad that she got to enjoy her retirement. My condolences to her family and friends.
