Melvin Crosby Sherman, 86

FULTON, NY – Melvin C. Sherman, 86 of Fulton, passed away Saturday September 29, 2012, at James Square Health and Rehabilitation Center in Syracuse.

A native of the Waterloo area, he was a life resident of Fulton.

Mr. Sherman retired from Penny Curtis Trucking, Syracuse in 1988 after more than 10 years.

He had previously worked for General Foods, BirdsEye Division in Fulton for many years.

He also was the site manager for the Food Co-Op, Fulton.

Mr. Sherman was a Navy veteran.

He was predeceased by his wife, Edna Sherman.

Surviving: three daughters, Sharon Utley of Florida, Patricia Barber of Fair Haven and Sandy Gioia of Oswego; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be no calling hours.

Services are private.
