FULTON, NY – Michael Busko, 91, of Fulton, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017, at Oswego Hospital.
Born May 13, 1926, in the Ukraine, he was the son of Anthony and Ksenia (Sumyk) Busko.
Mike owned and operated Oswego County Amusements and Mike’s Tape Center both in Fulton.
He enjoyed life and made the most out of it.
Mike’s favorite pastime was playing golf, even achieving a memorable hole-in-one.
The Yankees were his favorite ball team and he would rarely be seen without his Yankees ball cap.
Mike was a generous man who was always there to help someone out.
During his stay at Michaud and St. Luke’s nursing homes, he would buy candy and pass it out to the residents and staff.
Mike was predeceased by his daughter, Andrea Busko Price, who passed away the day before on Sunday, December 3, 2017, to greet him in the hereafter.
Surviving are his daughters, Laura (Ernest) Eaton, Michele Giourtis and Leslee (Dan Riggall) Tondeur; grandchildren, Michael (Sherry) Eaton, Trisha (Michael) Eaton Ganey, Kassie (Keith) Tondeur Haas, Christopher (Jennifer) Tondeur, Diamondo Giourtis Wallace, Adrianna Giourtis and Natalie Giourtis and seven great-grandchildren.
With his generosity, Mike donated his body to the Anatomical Gift Program at Upstate Medical University.
