FULTON, NY – Michael J. Bardin, 63, of Fulton, passed away at Upstate/University Hospital in Syracuse on Friday March 11, 2016.
Born September 26, 1952, in Fulton to Eugene and Marylou Bardin, Mike enjoyed traveling, but always returned to his hometown of Fulton.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a lifetime member of the Phoenix American Legion Post 418.
Mike was also a member of the Alliance Church in Fulton.
In addition to his parents, Mike was predeceased by his wife, Dian, in 2012.
Michael is survived by his brothers, Russel Bardin and Fredrick Allen Jr.; sisters, Robin Bardin, Judy Till, Roxanne Waldron and Kelly Jo Carlton; step-sisters, Bonnie Leavey and Carol Mills; children, Michael and April Bardin; step-children John and Christopher Kerfien; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 18, at the American Legion Post 418, 9 Oswego River Road, Phoenix.

if u were ever looking for a person to help at functions mike was the guy the legion could always count on him he played santa one year he was also in cody fire dept for a while and loved when he was in search and rescue he told me some stories he loved his wife dian and missed her so much he loved living with his sister with the dogs in the projects hopefully he is at peace now till we meet again
