FULTON, NY – Michele A. Halstead, 56, of Fulton, passed away Monday April 23, 2012, at University Hospital in Syracuse after a long battle with multiple cancers.
Born in Fulton, she was a life resident.
Michele had worked as a nurse’s aide for 20 years at Andrew Michaud Nursing Home in Fulton.
Surviving: her mother, Elizabeth Merritt; a daughter, Denna (Santiago) Rodriguez; a son, Joshua Cooper; a sister, Sharon Wright; a brother, Donald Merritt; two granddaughters, Jasmine and Alejandrina; and companion, Rick Clark.
Calling hours will be Monday noon to 2 p.m. with a 2 p.m. service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
