FULTON, NY – Nina B. Heer, 76, of Fulton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday April 28, 2015, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.

She was born on January 19, 1939, to the late Harold and Marion Brown Sherman.

Nina retired from Nestle Co. after 35 years.

She was the “best cook in the world,” enjoyed her gardens and spending time with her grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by seven siblings: Harrison, Dixie, Neal, Cash, Marion, Danny and Jack.

She will be greatly missed and forever loved by her husband, Paul Heer Jr.; four children, Paul (Roberta) Heer of Colton, George (Jeanne) Heer of Fulton, Tena (Bob) Cunningham of Hannibal and Stephen Heer of Oswego; 10 grandchildren, Paul Robert (Kim) Heer, Jamie (Jason) Reed, Kim Brockway, Laura (Brad) Miller, Hollie (Mike) Anderson, Brittanie (Jeff Tetro) Brockway, Tara (Justin Bymaster) Stoddard, Beth (Matt Rockafeller) Cunningham, Nicole (Will) Coady and Stephen A.P. Heer; 20 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Sabrina, Robert, Hannah, Jo Jo, Matayah, Sam, Paul, Reilly, Shelby, Everly, Matisyn, Carter, Nickolas, Hunter, Autumn, Bailey, Stratton, Trindy and Hailey; four siblings, Harold, Cathy, Duane and Gerry; as well as several nieces, nephews and one great-grandson on the way.

Calling hours will be Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, where a memorial service will follow at 2 p.m.
