Norma Eleanor Freeden, 87

FULTON, NY – Norma Eleanor Freeden, 87, of Fulton, passed away after a brief illness on Friday March 22, 2013, at her home with her children by her side.

Norma was born on April 30, 1925, to the late Claude and Harriet Edly Lewis and had graduated from Fulton High School.

Norma was predeceased by her husband, Edward R. Freeden, in 1987.

She is survived by their children, Mark E. Freeden of Fulton and Claudia J. (Aaron) Karppala of Sandy Creek; a sister, Shirley and brother-in-law Ray Cotton of Northport, Fla. and their son, Gary; two grandchildren, Matthew Smith and Patricia DeVeau; and a great-grand daughter, Riley DeVeau.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on March 26 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, with services to immediately follow at 6 p.m.

Interment will be at Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton, in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Friends of Oswego County Hospice, P.O. Box 102, Oswego, NY 13126.
