FULTON, NY – Norma J. Weldon Boyle, formerly of Hannibal, NY, died Wednesday January 4, 2017, at the Christian Care Center at Village Manor in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Born in Fulton, Norma was a graduate of Cato-Meridian High School.

She received her B.S. in Education from Fresno State.

She taught elementary school in California, Tennessee, New York and Kentucky.

Norma was a lady of many talents.

She was a voracious reader and passionate gardener which lead to many culinary delights she created for her loving family.

Norma was a talented seamstress and loved to knit.

In her retirement years, she traveled with her husband, Tom, whenever she could, usually including visits to and with family members.

Norma was predeceased by her parents, Ruth and David Weldon; son, Stephen; husband, Thomas; sisters, Joyce Creede, Phyllis Fellows and Shirley Casper, and brother, Calvin Weldon.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Jan (Ed) Schaperjahn Jr. and Melanie Clark; her grandchildren, Jessica (Matthew) McGiff, Stephanie (Ryan) Stone, Thomas Schaperjahn, Laura Jean Clark, Jordan Clark, Brodie (June) Clark, Hannah Clark and Pamela Rodrigues; great-grandchildren, Jimi McGiff, Harper and Hadley Stone, and Carter and Neko White.

She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews and loving friends.

A service to commemorate her life will be held at a later date.

  1. So sorry for your loss Jan and Melanie. I have a lot of good memories of your mom and dad when we all lived on Mill street.
