HANNIBAL, NY – Phyllis A. Benedict, 92, of Hannibal, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 18, 1926, in Alleghany, NY, a daughter to the late Luthene and Marie Hitchcock Pinney.
Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Milford; and three brothers, Arthur, George and Kenneth Pinney.
She is survived by her two children, Gary (Arlene) Benedict Sr. and Denise (Gary) Broadwell both of Hannibal; five grandchildren, Gary (Bev), Benedict Jr., James Benedict, Melissa (Moddie) Breland, Jason Broadwell and Joanne Broadwell; eight great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m.
Burial will be in Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Hannibal.
