OSWEGO, NY – Roxana M. Brayton, 73, of Oswego, passed away on Friday July 15, 2016, at St. Luke Health Services.
She was born on April 3, 1943, in Afton, NY, a daughter to the late Roy and Marie Kilmer McBroom.
Roxana was a faithful member of the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Fulton, NY, where she enjoyed singing and worshipping with others of like faith.
She enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, crossword puzzles and spending her time with family and grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed and forever loved by her two children, Stephen (Valerie) Brayton of Massena and Rebeccah (Daniel) Hill of Middletown; four grandchildren, Andrew, Sasha, Jesus and Brittany; five great-grandchildren; five siblings, Roy McBroom Jr., Bill (Elizabeth) McBroom, Willard (Darlene) McBroom, Connie (Terry) Reger and Tom (LuAnna) McBroom; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will held on Saturday, July 23, at 2 p.m. at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 13 County Route 85, Fulton.

I remember Roxana well and the loving and kind smile. While we will miss her present’s now, we know that she is just taking a nap, and When Jehovah calls her she will be wide awake and hunting each one of us. Sorry we can’t be with you at this time. Jonathan and Willma Tucker
