Shantabia ‘Shanna’ Michelle Pravettoni, 21

FULTON, NY – Shantabia “Shanna” Michelle Pravettoni, 21, of Syracuse, went home to be with her Lord on Monday May 15, 2017.

She was born on July 20, 1995, in Homestead, Fla., and was adopted by her parents at the age of 11.

Shanna loved music, attending ARC, shopping and especially loved her new apartment and staff provided by HOME, Inc.

Surviving are her parents, Michael and Janet (Boots) Pravettoni of Oswego; sisters, Amanda Pravettoni of Oswego and Mary Bowen of Fulton; brothers, Nicholas Pravettoni of Oswego, Stephen Bowen and Michael Hall both of Fulton.

Shanna will be missed by all who knew her but will live on through her participation in the organ donation program.

A celebration of Shanna’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 23, at Crossroads Tabernacle, 639 W. Third St. S., Fulton, with Pastor John Coleman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Shanna’s memory may be made to Crossroads Tabernacle or to the Down Syndrome Association of Central New York, P.O. Box 5, Manlius, NY 13104-0005.

  1. My Darling Shanna Banana – I am going to miss your hugs, your giggles, your grin. The gang is going to miss your challenges and teaching you what it means to be a family – but in the end – you got it! You knew what it was to be so loved that you gave that love back to us in mountains full! Sleep sweet my little Sister.

  4. I had the pleasure of providing care for Shantabia when I worked at Pontiac, a few years back. My sincerest condolences go out to the Pravettoni family.

  5. My heart goes out to her family especially Amanda-I worked with her at OI and still see her every Sunday.
