FULTON, NY – Shirley Ingison Wellwood, 88, of Fulton, died on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego.
She was born on March 4, 1929, in Fulton, a daughter to the late George and Lula Thompson Hartranft.
Mrs. Wellwood retired in 1995 from Fulton Tool Company, Inc., after 21 years.
Her life and heart was to her family.
She loved gardening and making cookies.
Mrs. Wellwood was predeceased by her husband, James Wellwood, in 2013; sister, Vivian Gardner; and brother-in-law, Mertin Gardner.
Surviving are her two sons, Timothy (Linda) Ingison of Washington and Gary Ingison of Fulton; two step-children, Cynthia (Tim) Delaney of Sterling and Sharon (Wayne) June of Phoenix; 13 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 3 p.m.
Graveside services will be at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Hannibal, in the spring.
