FULTON, NY – Thomas R. Hood, 59, of Fulton, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Oswego Hospital.
He was born on July 20, 1958, in Long Island, a son to the late Everett and Norma Kroll Hood.
Tom, owner of Hood racing, held track champion of Fulton Speedway eight times and set the record for the most wins in a single season at 20 out 23 races.
He was predeceased by his twin brother, Scott, and brother, Frank.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Lynn of Fulton; two brothers, Lee (Louann) Hood of Ballston Spa and Mark (Deborah) Hood of Fulton; as well as Lynn’s family and nieces and nephews.
All services will be held privately.
Burial will be in the Forever Garden at All Saints Episcopal Church, Fulton.
