FULTON, NY – Tod P. Gibson, 75, of Fulton, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse.
He was born on April 16, 1943, in Fulton, a son to the late Casphor and Irene Stone Gibson.
Tod retired from the city of Fulton D.P.W. after 25 years.
He enjoyed swimming, wrestling but above all talking and having conversations with anyone.
Tod was predeceased by a sister, Judy Wilkins; two brothers, Steven and Allen Gibson; sister-in-law, Agnes Hemings; and two brothers-in-law, Steven and Joseph LaBeef.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joanne Gibson; “adopted” daughter, Dionne (Josephine) LaBeef-Rodriguez; four sisters, Carolyn Kottwitz, Dian (Francis) Alder, Jacalyn (Tom) Godkin and Teri (Mark) Chesbro; one brother, Randy (Ann Marie) Gibson; three sisters-in-law, Madora Allen, Sherry LaBeef and Margaret Wheelock; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, June 25, at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Golisano Children’s Hospital, in Tod’s memory.
