Wanda J. Richards, 62

FULTON, NY – Wanda J. Richards, 62, of Fulton, passed away Wednesday March 13, 2013, at Oswego Hospital.

She was born in Fulton, a daughter to the late Leon “Yago” and Doris Jodway and was a life resident of Fulton.

Wanda attended Syracuse University.

She was formerly employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital until her retirement in 2003.

Wanda was a communicant of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

She enjoyed camping and travelling.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was predeceased by three brothers, Larry, Darryl and Gene Jodway.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Keller M. Richards; siblings, Dennis Jodway of Fulton, Vicki Jodway of Auburn, Steven Jodway of Fulton and Jacqueline Jodway of New Haven; two aunts, Marie (John) Richards of Florida and Avis Blasczienski of Fulton; several nephews and nieces especially her Godchild, Kelly Blasczienski of Liverpool.

Graveside services will be in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Keller M. Richards.

  1. I worked with Wanda at Lee Memorial Hospital, she worked South Wing and I worked North Wing..Wanda was such a good nurse..Our deepest, heartfelt sympathy goes out to all who loved her.
