FULTON, NY – Warren R. Rockwood, 80, of Fulton, born 5/23/1937, went to be with the Lord, after a brief illness, on Thursday 4/26/2018.

He was born in Fulton, to the late Erwin and Ruth (Dann) Rockwood.

Warren proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He retired from the Oswego County DPW after 30 years.

Warren was an active member of the State Street United Methodist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, camping, but above all, enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Parker Rockwood; brothers-in-law, Robert and Donald Shatrau and James Poyneer; and sister-in-law, Yvonne Shatrau.

Warren will be forever loved by his wife of 19 years, Helena (Shatrau) Rockwood; sons, Harry (Betty Dunsmoor) Rose and Heath (Chrystal) Rose; grandchildren, Brittanie, Timothy, Tia and Max Rose; great-grandchildren, Addison and Karlie Rose; step-grandchildren, Jessica, Morgan and John; and four step-great-grandchildren; brother, Foster (Rae) Rockwood; sisters, Christine (Edward) Tryniski and Roberta Buck; sister-in-law, Eloise Rockwood; brothers and sisters-in-law, Vaughnda (Gary) Larson, Richard (Sue) Shatrau, Sharon Poyneer, Mike (Karen Cerny) Shatrau, Linda (Chris) Scriber, Brenda Shatrau, Peter Shatrau, Timothy (Michelle) Shatrau and Christopher (Denise) Shatrau; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, May 1, from 3 to 6 p.m. with a service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.

Burial will be in Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to State Street United Methodist Church, 357 State St., Fulton, NY 13069.
